May went to ask Taoiseach for Backstop but instead made Tea-Stop after Back-Shock

By George ILIEV
Brexit Metaphor No 55

A Brit can never be accused of drinking too much tea. So when Theresa May went to Brussels on December 13 to meet with the Irish Taoiseach [tea-shock] to talk about the Irish Backstop, the outcome was she only got a "tea-stop" after her December 12 "back-shock" (the scare that her own party gave her with the defeated vote of no-confidence). So, the future of Brexit currently sounds like "Keep calm and drink tea!"

Nice cup of tea (Source: Wikipedia)
